He listened to what we were looking to get out of the trip, then put a package together that suited our family's needs and was within our budget. He gave us tips on where to go to make the most of our dining plan, so we got a good variety of different foods. We had a technical issue with the My Disney Experience Plus system, and he set up a time to meet with us to call Disney tech support and get everything straightened out. Even little details, like paying attention to events that might affect the number of people at the various parks - he kept us informed of where we might have the most fun while avoiding the larger crowds. He was always quick to respond to questions, both before the trip and even if we ran into any trouble while we were at the parks. Any time we think we might be headed to central Florida, our first call will be to Matt's Firehouse Family Vacations. I highly recommend them to anyone who might be considering their own trip." While we were at the parks he was available by text message and Facebook when we had questions about ride and dining timings, and he was even able to give us the inside scoop on crowds and the best places to view the parade while we were at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary-Halloween. He even notified our resort that we were there to celebrate our children’s birthday, so when we arrived they had birthday badges and a voicemail message from Mickey and Minnie wishing them a happy birthday. The little touches like that really added a special element to the whole trip. We met lots of other guests while we were there, and inevitably reservations and planning came up in conversations. I was surprised to learn how many people had disappointing experiences with their trip planners. One family lost all of their dining reservations when their travel agent forgot to move their dining dates with their resort dates. Another one ended up in a room that had too few beds for the size of their party. We experienced nothing but the best service that met or exceeded our expectations at every turn. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves without worrying or constantly double-checking our plans, and I credit that entirely to Matt’s diligence. His services cost you nothing if you make your reservations through him, so it's totally to your advantage to work with him. We would have spent a lot more money on the trip and we would have been less well planned and less prepared without him. He's a total pro, and he's absolutely wonderful to work with.
